Time to take flight… Hot Western Nights #8sunday #snippetsunday

Fake Marriage with a Dash of Desire, my western novella, featured in Hot Western Nights.

This is in Nash's POV.

This Week's Snippet Below: We're jumping ahead a few paragraphs. Lulu confirmed that Stanfield was still out in the hall, while Jewel finished dressing.

The pixie's gaze narrowed in on the window, and she hurried over to it, sliding it open. The muted sounds from outside came in loud and clear. Wagon wheels squeaking, horses snorting, and the murmur of conversations filtered in on the hot breeze. Even the music from the saloon wafted in like a pied-piper melody. Maybe the woman was, indeed, a fairy, for it sure appeared as if she planned to fly out of the window.

"Are you plumb crazy?" At least Lulu saw how foolish it would be to climb out the window. "You can't go out there."

The pixie's too-kissable mouth curved into a wide grin. "Sure I can, Lulu. The climb is easy."

  1. Is she a tomboy or a circus acrobat? Or just plain out of options? I think I’d take my chances inside with Nash rather than climb out that window. This a a great story with lots of wonderful details. Can’t wait for more!
