Alan MacLachlin is the legendary Loch Ness Monster. For centuries his punishment has been to guard the well of life that exists in an underwater cavern. Allowed to come ashore every half a century, he can break the curse if he finds his soul mate. He’s lived many lives with no luck until he meets Michaela. However, the gods have a cruel sense of humor. Death looms in Michaela’s future. As the beast, he can give her the magical water to keep her alive. If the curse is broken, there will be no more trips to the cavern.

Michaela and Alan vow to take what time has to offer, but another threat looms in their path. A sinister predator, a shape shifter with a personal vendetta against Alan, stalks the village of Drumnadrochit, making Loch Ness his personal hunting ground. Next on his list is Michaela. Alan must unravel the mystery, discover who the shifter is and stop him before it’s too late.
