Six Sentence Sunday: Magic of the Loch #7

It's Six Sentence Sunday! This is the seventh tidbit from my upcoming release (August 2012) with The Wild Rose Press: Magic of the Loch.

Location: Drumnadrochit Scotland, which lies at the head of Urquhart Bay on Loch Ness and is the focal point for interest in the Loch Ness Monster.

In this scene: A sinister shape shifter threatens Michaela.(Alan is in his Loch Ness Monster shape, believing he has the upper hand.)

Her (Michaela's) body flew through the air, landing in the water with a splash that sent waves crashing over the pier. She was unconscious, helpless…sinking to the bottom.

“Are ye goin’ to let her drown?” The shifter’s sinister chortle rang like a death toll.
The bastard knew he’d won. Alan would have to let him escape or Michaela would drown.

Alan roared and dove into the water, going after her.

  1. Alan obviously has his priorities in the right place, saving the heroine. Good six!

  2. I’ve always wondered about “Nessie” and his/her magic…I’m going to thoroughly enjoy this book when it releases! I hope Alan gets a chance to go after the bad guy another time. Priorities, first, though. Save the heroine, save the day! 😉

    1. Hi Silver,

The legend is revealed and the random sightings explained. 🙂 Alan will have his day.

Thanks so much for coming by. I’m so glad the snippets have caught your interest. 🙂

  3. I’ve always been intrigued by the legend of Loch Ness and I love anything set in Scotland. This sounds soooo good, Karen. Great six brimming over with action. I am so cheering Alan on! 🙂
