This week's snippet is from Flowers and Fangs.
The three Hayes brothers arrived at the Wilkins' home. They've dusted the Nosferatu (one of the more nastier vampires and the most lethal), and they have staked another vamp, who they hope is T. Wilkens. This will be the last of the infected family members they have to eliminate...or so they hope. Wade is going through the vamp's wallet for confirmation.
This is in Derek's POV, but Wade is speaking first.

"We have a winner, boys. This is Trent Wilkins." He leafed through the other compartments of the wallet. "Twenty dollars." He pocketed the money, which had Trent cursing and snarling all over again. "And…" He held up a photo with a frown.
"What's wrong?" Axel asked and Wade handed him the photo.
"Oh, hell," Axel said then thrust the photo to Derek.
Trent was in the photo, and… another Trent? "He has a twin?"

Wow twins! Are they both vampires? Or did one of them escape the change? Oh! Can a vampire appear on a photo or are they like mirrors?

They can appear in photos, but this photo was taken before they were changed.

I knew there had to be something else about to go wrong. This will be a fun problem, for sure!
Good twist with the twin! That’s always a fun one to play around with. This vampire story has a great feel to it– you’ve managed to put an original spin on it, which isn’t easy at this point.
That doesn’t sound like a good portent at all! Was he magickally cloned, or does he have some kind of double?
