It's Six Sentence Sunday! This is the second tidbit from my upcoming release (August 2012) with The Wild Rose Press: Magic of the Loch. This scene takes place in Fiddler's Luck, Drumnadrochit Scotland, which lies at the head of Urquhart Bay on Loch Ness and is the focal point for interest in the Loch Ness Monster.
This is Alan and Michaela's first encounter on the pier. Alan just saved Michaela from being toppled into the loch. Enjoy!
SIX SENTENCE SUNDAY #2:
“Thank… uh… Thank you,” she stuttered, frustrated by her inability to articulate a clear sentence. Where had he come from? She could have sworn there hadn’t been anyone on the dock a moment ago.
“Are ye sure ye’re fine?”
She nodded but held on tighter simply because she wasn’t ready to let him go.
“Then ye need to watch where ye’re goin’,” he snapped, his beautiful eyes narrowing and flashing with contempt.

Love a Scottish setting. Congrats on the upcoming release! Great six.
Thanks, Linda.
I hope you enjoy the legend of the Loch Ness Monster, too. 🙂
So what’s got up his nose then? And who tried to ‘topple’ her into the lock
Sherry,
lol Alan does have an attitude at first, but you soon find out why.
As for who almost toppled the sweet lass into the loch… Alan has a few furry friends named– Elvis and Priscilla. Can you guess what Alan is a fan of?
Thanks so much for stopping by!
Great six sentences…made me want to know more.
Contempt? Interesting. I wasn’t expecting that. (FYI, thanks for leaving a comment on my six last week. Your feedback is much appreciated.)

Interesting six – I’m wondering about the contempt too. I was at Loch Ness a couple of year ago, so could imagine the setting!
How exciting– you’ve been to Loch Ness. What a holiday that must have been!!
