Six Sentence Sunday: The Spirit of Love #3

It's Six Sentence Sunday and This is the 3rd snippet from The Spirit of Love.

Quick update: Brynna and Travis lost their son due to a tragic accident. Instead of turning to each other they drifted apart. However, they own a Ghost Hunting business and they were scheduled for a night at the Queen Mary. This is the first time they have seen each other in months.

Brynna and Travis have set up their 'ghost hunting' equipment. They may have had their first ghost encounter. In their excitement for a moment they forgot that they were no longer together. Brynna just told him how much she has missed him.

************************************************************************************

Now for the six:

Emotion drenched his voice. “Brynna, why did we allow this to happen to us?”

“Foolishness, stupidity, but we can still fix this, can’t we?”

“Brynna, I . . .” His Adam’s apple bobbed up and down and his next words didn’t give her hope. “Let’s sit down.”

***********************************************************************************

Do you think the two will find a way back to each other? Do you believe in second chances?

  1. The adams apple is always the thing that gives away emotion. Everyone knows when I’m about to cry because mine goes crazy trying to hold back tears. A really good six. xx

  2. Great job of showing his emotion. I love the premise of this whole thing – – the ghost hunting business and the night on the Queen Mary. It will be interesting to see how you bring them back to each other ~ and yes, I do believe in second chances! 🙂

  3. I really, really love the setting of this story. I hope they get back together, but I love the ghost element so much I will totally forgive you if they don’t, LOL!
