Six Sentence Sunday: The Spirit of Love #6

It's Six Sentence Sunday and This is the 6th snippet from The Spirit of Love. It's a Celebration at my KMN Books Blog. Lots of Holiday Cheer and Prizes. KMN Books Blogspot.

If this is your first SSS, here's a quick update: Brynna and Travis lost their son (Jake) due to a tragic accident. Instead of turning to each other they drifted apart. However, they own a Ghost Hunting business and they were scheduled for a night at the Queen Mary. This is the first time they have seen each other in months. Travis is baring his soul...

(Travis is speaking first.)

Now for the six:

"It haunts me that I wasn’t strong enough for you. Brynna?” he said, his voice thick with emotion as he spaced out each word evenly. “How many days has it been since you moved out of the house?”

“It seems like a lifetime, but it’s only been a week.”

“You believe it’s only been a week?”

She frowned, confused by his question.
