Twirl and Dip (WIP) Drake's POV

Once seated Drake took a welcome sip. "Good brew."

"So, you had a concert tonight?" Maverick asked before bringing the mug to his lips.

"I did. It was over before I decided to hightail it out of there. I just need time to think, you know? And well…" He sat back in his seat. "I didn't want someone talking me out of going. I just left."

Possible Blurb:

Eastyn has her soda shop to run and specialty ice creams to create. Only the place is falling apart, and she may have a haunted jukebox that chooses songs to communicate. If things couldn't get any more complicated, Drake, her ex-fiancé, returns home after five years on the road with his rock band, Never Mind the Damage.

Eastyn vows not to fall for Drake's charms again, but when you have a lifetime of memories with the man, the heart seems not to care about pledges. Her haunted jukebox believes choosing the right song to twirl and dip to is the answer to everything. However, Eastyn isn't convinced. She wants to know if Drake is home for good, or will he break her heart all over again?

Latest Audiobook Release

Two Worlds Collided is one of my favorite tales about time travel, romance, and second chances. You can revisit the story at Audible, or if you haven't read it yet, experience the adventure for the first time as the narrator opens the door to a new world. That's right. You heard it hear first. Two Worlds Collided is available in an audiobook format narrated by the talented Sharmila Devar.

Are you excited yet? Yes, you say. Me, too.

  1. You do such a god job of writing atmosphere in your stories. This one is no different. He has certainly stepped out of the hectic life for a wee bit. Pretty laid back there, sipping his coffee. with Maverick. 🙂

  2. I’m waiting for them to ask what has someone of his fame popping up amongst them with no plan of where to go.

  3. Your dialogue works really well. It gives just enough information to keep the reader interested and reading on.
