Slept like a baby. Twirl and Dip

"I've been staying at Rowan's for months," Maverick told him as he handed Drake his keys to his place.

"I really appreciate it."

Maverick gripped his arm. "No problem. Get some sleep. You'll have a better perspective in the morning."

Drake entered the apartment and turned on a light. The living room and kitchen were adjacent to each other and the hall took him past the bathroom and then the bedroom. Not big nor luxurious but clean. He slept like a baby.

Possible Blurb:

Eastyn has her soda shop to run and specialty ice creams to create. Only the place is falling apart, and she may have a haunted jukebox that chooses songs to communicate. If things couldn't get any more complicated, Drake, her ex-fiancé, returns home after five years on the road with his rock band, Never Mind the Damage.

Eastyn vows not to fall for Drake's charms again, but when you have a lifetime of memories with the man, the heart seems not to care about pledges. Her haunted jukebox believes choosing the right song to twirl and dip to is the answer to everything. However, Eastyn isn't convinced. She wants to know if Drake is home for good, or will he break her heart all over again?

Latest Audiobook Release.

Holly Adams narrated Heart and Soul, the third story in the Rock and Roll romance series. Now available at Audible.

Two Worlds Collided is one of my favorite tales about time travel, romance, and second chances. You can revisit the story at Audible, or if you haven't read it yet, experience the adventure for the first time as the narrator opens the door to a new world. That's right. You heard it hear first. Two Worlds Collided is available in an audiobook format narrated by the talented Sharmila Devar.

Are you excited yet? Yes, you say. Me, too.

  1. Ah, is he here to get some space to think? I was wondering what he was up to, brief weekly snippets sometime make is hard to keep track of the bigger picture.

  2. Sleep . . . that sounds great right about now. I slept like a cranky baby last night, so I’m tired.

Hmm. Why do folks always say “slept like a BABY?” In my recollection, and I’ve got four kids, they’re always waking up during the night.

    1. Ed,
I hope you found some rest. 🙂
I have three kids. They all slept through the night for me after three months. 🙂 But they were little stinkers when they were awake. lol

  3. Nothing like crashing out after a long, exhausting trip. Glad you posted on FB thread. The post for this weeks WeWriWa site is gone for some reason.
