He glanced at her. "We've been going down there for years. No one has turned us in yet. Just think of this adventure as a night hike with ghost stories. Jared, the tour guide has some great tales and he is one of our local police officers. I doubt he'll be turning us in to the authorities." He grinned. "I think I mentioned he's the owner's nephew."
She shook her head but her lips curved and relief spread through him. He didn't want her to feel uncomfortable.

I’m relieved too LOL! Now they can focus on the real reason for going out there and not worry so much about the trespassing thing…enjoyed the snippet and of course can’t wait to see what they find…
